Guanajuato, Mexico

I arrived saftely and am all moved in with my family. They are an extremely nice couple in their 60's. We walked around the city and saw my school, the university, a few statues of Cervantes and pepiula we also visited the mercado central. Which is basically an extremely bustling happy and loud farmers market mixed with a wal-mart, and fair. Lots of food and families. One thing I noticed is that everyone seems happy and content. A lotbof them do not have much but they truly enjoy one another's company and just walking around.

Viva la Mexico

Hello

I am starting a blog to keep family and friends updated on

my 3 week adventure to Guanajuato, Mexico.

Starting out I met my mom and dad in Omaha, Nebraska to leave them with our dog Nylla. I feel like both parties involved will have a great learning curve. I am extremely lucky to have them. They do not know how special they are to me. I only hope I can be as great to my kids as they are to me.

Next I drove to Washington, Iowa too surprise my fiancé and best friend Hannah. There we had dinner and I was able to meet her friends Emily and Caleb, very good people. The countdown is truly on and we can both feel the end of our year apart getting closer.

Finally I drove to the twin cities where I am staying the evening with my future father and mother in law Dave and Renee. They are great host and are preparing dinner for me, I always enjoy my time at their home and am thankful for their openness and kindness with my stays
