Saturday family day

Saturday I spent most of my day with my house mom Raquel. My head hurt from all the Spanish but I had fun and am very thankful my family here Is so nice and inviting. They invited me to their inlaws house for dinner and a birthday. I feel very honored. We had a traditional Mexican dish called pazole. Basically a very hearty stew. Best food I've eaten since I arrived. We talked and ate and I had a wonderful time.

Not to mention the house was beautiful and very modern. Here is a view from the deck


In the morning we walked to the market. And it is cool to see Raquel in action. She really knows what she's after and it's fun watching her flow in her element.

That's all for now. We are touring ancient ruins and a tequila factory today it should be a great time.
